Producer, Lee Tim Sing laughs and says the series will not beat “Rosy Business” in ratings.
 
Leading lady, Tavia Yeung admits that there is a lot of pressure, and says, “We do have confidence [in the series] because the series did very well in Canada [and overseas]. Both “Salt” and “Rosy” are series about essential items, and my character changes from a naive person that knows nothing to a boss of the house hold. The similarity it [the character] has with Sheren’s fourth wife, is that they both are very brave.”
 
“A Watchdog’s Tale” was originally supposed to air, but TVB decided to air “Salt” because of the success of “Rosy”. Steven Ma praises Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai on their acting abilites. Steven already admits defeat in ratings compared to “Rosy”, but “Salt” will still bring surprise to the audience.
