I: So where’s your partner Yeung Yi?

R (laughs): She’s beside me, asleep, because my driving is too smooth.

Lam Fung uses work to fill the gap that love has left.
Translated by: disconsolatedreams @ Raymond’s AF thread

Lam Fung has participated in both acting and singing and has achieved good results, as seen from his Concert DVD that has been released recently already reaching platinum status. As he has achieved much recognition in both the music and TV world, when he accepted a part in 《巴巴闭边个够我查笃撑》(a/n: sorry i really have no idea what the english title for this is.. ): ), he happily spoke of his big plans for the future.

Although he has had both a successful concert and good DVD sales, he is not planning to be ambitious and have a second concert by the end of the year. One reason is that he doesn’t want to repeat the situation that he encountered: having to handle the filming for GTL and rush to prepare intensively for his concert. Another reason is that he wants to “collect” more songs before holding another concert. After finishing filming in October, he is planning to prepare for his mandarin album to be released at the end of this year. He also revealed that if he has the chance next year, he will go beyond Hongkong to hold concerts. Having achieved such outstanding results within a mere two years, Fung thanks his company for giving him so many valuable opportunities and time for him to try new things. He also mentioned that he does not have much high expectations for the end-of-year music awards, but would be satisfied with a nomination for best male singer.

Meanwhile, the dramas that he has had a role in have not been aired, and he admits, jokingly, that this year he is most probably not in the running for any awards and will be in the audience instead. However, regarding the Best Actor position, he revealed that his choice would be 黎耀祥 (a/n: I dunno what his english name is again, but I know he was lin chi yung in Moonlight Resonance…if anyone remembers.) and his character 柴九. He said that 黎耀祥 was, in everyone’s eyes, known for being a great actor, and regretted not having many chances to work with him in Moonlight Resonance and hoped to have an opportunity for some form of co-operation. Throughout the interview, Fung talked a lot about his career, but in relation to love, he sighed and mentioned that nothing has come up so far. “Yes I really do want to date! But the work that I do gives me a strong sense of fulfillment”, he says, showing extremely obviously that he wants to date very much.

Note: 黎耀祥 is Wayne and 柴九 is Chai Gau, his character in Rosy Business.
